I’m Tim Rumbinas, weaver and loomwright. I’ve done various things in my life: Literature teacher, graphic designer and owner of a printing company, a stint at making fine furniture. Back when I had hair, I spent six years patrolling backcountry shelters in the mountains of New Hampshire and Maine.
Very early in my life, I lived in a weaver’s house and wondered what all those large, wooden machines did. I’ll probably spend the rest of my life answering that question.
